With Uber Eats, you escape the traditional restaurant food delivery jobs with fixed hours.

Your earnings will be transferred to your bank account every week with an option to cash out at least 5 times a day.

According to ZipRecruiter, drivers earn an average of $19/hour and an annual average of $40,176 a year.

DoorDash

DoorDash is an app that will pay you to deliver food from various local restaurants. 

They call their delivery drivers “Dashers,” implying the speed in getting customers their orders.

Drizly

How to Sign Up: 

There are three ways to become a Drizly delivery driver.

First, apply at their partner stores since delivery drivers are hired directly through them.

To identify which stores in your area use Drizly, visit their website and input your address.

Second, you can visit their Careers page from time to time to see if anything pops up.

And third, fill out this form to be included in their driver job board.

Your information will be sent to Drizly’s local retailer partners who will reach out to you if they’re interested.

How Much You Can Make: 

Drizly is one of the best alcohol delivery services and they operate in over 1,500 cities.

That means your chances of finding a gig delivering for them are pretty high.

But since Drizly doesn’t directly hire delivery drivers, your salary for this job will depend on the local retail store you’re working with.

5. Deliver other goods

Find your next gig with these delivery services:

Roadie

Roadie’s efficient service connects people with stuff to send with drivers already headed in the same direction.

Think of this unique platform as carpooling but for items.

Customers will post the items and their prices on the Roadie app.

You just need to pick which ones you can deliver.

Roadie lets you work on your own schedule and be your own boss.

Being a Roadie driver is easy.

But you can earn anywhere between $8 to $650 depending on the item and distance.

Favor

Be a Favor runner and earn extra cash.

While Amazon Flex does give you the freedom to go as many or as few deliveries, you do have to reserve a time block in your area.

As an Amazon Flex driver, you complete deliveries with your own car.

Your vehicle must be registered in your name or to an owner who authorized you to list it.

In the US, you can only list vehicles registered and located in any state except New York.

Some car owners might be uncomfortable with arrangements like these.

But if you’re totally cool with letting strangers drive gigs with your car, you can list it on HyreCar here.

You get to post photos of your car with specific descriptions to entice potential drivers.

You also have to upload documents HyreCar requires: registration, insurance, driver’s license, and 19-point inspection.

However, HyreCar might only give you 75-85% of the price depending on the protection plan you choose.

Getaround is another popular way to kickstart your car-sharing entrepreneur business.

Like Turo, you just have to list your car for short-term rent and wait for interested drivers.

Cars are also covered with insurance policies and are offered 24/7 roadside assistance.

You can either sign up on the website or download the Getaround app.

Like with other rent-a-car platforms, not every vehicle is eligible for renting.

Getaround requires cars to be a model 2007 or newer and has fewer than 125,000 miles.

Aside from picking up passengers, Hitch also lets drivers do same-day package deliveries.

Then, download the Hitch app and apply to be a driver.

How Much You Can Make: 

According to Indeed, Hitch drivers could earn as much as $22/hour.

However, Hitch themselves say the base pay fluctuates depending on your location. 

But riders can still give you tips and you get to take that home in full.

Carpool Without an App

Want to get rid of the man in the middle? 

Well, even without an app, you can still find people to carpool with.

Join Facebook groups of people within your area and ask if anyone is interested.

You can even ask your neighbors if they’re open to the idea so you won’t have to pool with strangers.

Plus, without a third-party app, you get to keep 100% of what you charge your passengers.

But don’t get greedy and overdo it!

Only charge to offset your ordinary driving cost.

Pro movers get to pick jobs and earn more.

Signing up for a Bellhop mover is easy.

You just have to be over 18 years old and can lift at least 100 lbs. 

Having a smartphone compatible with the Bellhop app is also a must.

The company will contact you for a background check and once you clear that, you can wait for your tasks on the app. 

How Much You Can Earn: 

Earn as much as $21/hour as a Bellhop mover sent directly to your standard bank account.

Got a financial goal you’re building on?

Bellhop won’t put a cap on your earnings so you get to enjoy your tips and bonuses all the more.

Plus, if you’re worried about other expenses such as a move location being too far and taking too much time, Bellhop has got your back.

If you own a pickup truck, van, or box truck and you can lift over 75 lbs, you can be a Dolly Helper.

Those who don’t have trucks but own a car for smaller items can apply as a Dolly Hands and earn $20/hour.

Both Helpers and Hands get paid twice a week so you won’t have to wait long.

Pros?

It’s a good form of passive income.

Plus, ReferralCars won’t actually put a tracker to monitor the miles you drove or the time you spent driving around.

However, many who tried it did say that it’s could prove a challenge to successfully refer strangers.

Especially since some of the stickers are small and the referral code could be overlooked.
